Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Email address — used to sign you in with a one-time code and to send order receipts.
• Name and phone number — shared with the restaurant and rider so they can coordinate delivery.
• Delivery details — hostel block, room number, street address and gate note, to get food to your door.
• Order history — so you can reorder, review, and earn wallet cashback.
• Device push token — only if you enable notifications, to send order status updates.

2. How we use it

• To fulfil and deliver your orders and keep you updated on their status.
• To operate wallet cashback, promo codes, and Hostel Cart group orders.
• To respond to support requests and resolve disputes.
• To improve the app using anonymised, aggregated analytics.

3. Who we share it with

• Restaurant partners receive your name, phone number, delivery address and order contents for the orders you place with them.
• Safepay processes online payments. Your card details are entered on Safepay’s secure page and never touch our servers.
• Service providers that host our infrastructure, send email OTPs, and deliver push notifications.
• We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

4. Your controls

• Edit your profile, address and phone number any time from the Profile tab.
• Disable push notifications in your device settings or in the app.
• Request deletion of your account and data by emailing support@zaikarush.com from your registered email.

5. Security & retention

• Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled servers.
• Sign-in uses short-lived one-time codes; we never store a password for you.
• Order records are retained for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations.

6. Children

ZaikaRush is intended for students and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes are announced in-app or by email, and the date at the top of this page will change.
